Sam Linux
SAM Linux is a live Linux distribution on CD, based on PCLinuxOS. You simply insert the CD into your computer and within a couple of minutes will have a working version of Linux running on your computer without having to install anything. You then have the option to install it if you choose. SAM Linux can also be installed to and run from a USB pen drive and we will also be selling these shortly.
SAM Linux uses the XFce desktop with support for more than 20 languages and comes included with a number of software applications including Firefox, OpenOffice.org, Gaim, Gimp, Abiword, Gnumeric, Flash 9, Java and RealPlayer.
Order SAM 2007
SAM 2007 was released on March 22nd 2007 and comes with the latest XFce 4.4 desktop. To run SAM 2007 you need at least 128mb of RAM and a 300mhz CPU, which makes it suitable for older computers. Read the release announcement.

SAM 2007 Screenshot
The following screenshot shows the SAM Linux desktop directly after booting up and logging in. SAM has an OSX-like dock at the top of the screen and in this screenshot the mouse is currently hovering over the web browser icon so it is enlarged and there is text describing what the icon is for.
