Freespire Linux
Freespire is a community driven Linux distribution that contains only free and open source software, but gives users the choice to install closed, proprietary software if they so choose, including software such as multimedia codecs, device drivers and other application software. The version we sell here is the regular complete version and includes legally-licensed, 3rd party codecs, drivers and software, and has out-of-the-box support for MP3, Windows Media, QuickTime, Java, Flash, Real, ATI drivers, nVidia drivers, proprietary WiFi drivers, modem drivers, fonts, and so on.
Freespire was derived from the commercial Linspire offering and is based on Debian.
